Replacement of Public Lighting with LED

This good practice is directed at public infrastructure operators. It is an energy efficiency initiative whose purpose is to replace existing lanterns with energy efficient LED lanterns, to reach a 45% reduction in energy use. It is innovative because it is having a significant impact on energy reduction costs of the Local Authority. It was produced by Leitrim County Council in Leitrim (IE).
