Talk About Cambridgeshire
The project acts as a first step to engage communities in social media platforms and helps develop their confidence so they can use local platforms such as www.shapeyourplace.org which provides each market town in Cambridgeshire with a platform for the community to engage with service providers. Main objectives are: •To work and train communities to develop and manage a social media site using free software and to facilitate the development of the sites before leaving them to run and manage them on their own. •To deliver on the Digital by Default agenda – a national initiative aimed at getting people to use online as the preferred choice when interacting with local and national government
