ACTION project: ICT-technology for supporting older rural family caregivers

ACTION is a package of ICT and e-health solutions bringing new ways of providing services to frail older people in rural areas. Through it family caregivers are able to participate in caregiver support while remaining in their own homes, regardless of geographic distance to service centres or availability of qualified staff in their own geographical surroundings. The service package includes information and educational software, access to a secure social community with peer caregivers and call centres among others.
