DIGITAL AGENDA PROJECTS
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Digital Atlantic is a consultation among Europe's Atlantic regions to help identify their digital agenda needs for the period 2014 - 2020. It is expected to be completed by may 2014.

The initiative is a joint venture between the regions participating in two complimentry networks, i.e., ERNACT and the CPMR Atlantic Arc Commission

The approach is to engage directly with the Atlantic regions to discover their digital development priorities, project ideas and transnational cooperation needs. This will be achieved using a mixture of workshops, on-line collaboration tools and social media channels.

For practical purposes, the work is divided into three categories, each of which also form the topic of a workshop. Interested public authorities, universities, research centres and companies may attend and participate.
  1. ePublic Services - particularly how cloud, big data, social media and open data is transforming public service design and delivery (North West Ireland)  23 Jan 2014
  2. Innovation Platforms - how new innovation paradigms, enabled by the growth of Internet models, will effect economics, business and job creation (San Sebastian, Spain) 13 March 2014
  3. High Speed Broadband - High Speed Broadband needs and plans, particularly in rural parts of the Atlantic (Santander, Spain) 7 April 2014
It is intended to present the results at the CPMR Atlantic Commission General Assembly in Bordeaux, France 25 April 2014

Digital Atlantic is the last phase of the Atlantic Area Public Services project which developed a number of transnational e-services and in the conext of public sector innovation.
