Presenter – Dr Paul Greaney, BSc, PhD, FHEA, is a Lecturer in Computing at ATU Donegal and a Principal Investigator with ATU’s Centre for Mathematical Modelling and Intelligent Systems for Health and Environment (MISHE). His research interests are in data science, machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing. He graduated from the University of Galway with BSc (Hons) and PhD degrees in Applied Mathematics. Following this, he spent three years as a Deep Learning Research Engineer with Valeo Vision Systems, working on computer vision algorithms for autonomous driving applications. Paul teaches on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules in machine learning, data science, and mathematics.
