We are now seeking an
IVY youth candidate
to support the
PEACE-Air Project (Partnership for Evidence and Action on Clean Air)
funded under
PEACEPLUS
, a programme managed by the
Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB)
- European Funding.
The post will be based in the
ERNACT
office in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal and the volunteer will contribute to project communication, stakeholder engagement, citizen participation and dissemination activities across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
PEACE-Air
works cross-border to improve air quality through strategic engagement, research and action. It aims to provide scientific evidence on air pollution sources, support policies to reduce emissions, raise awareness of the health impacts of air pollution, and encourage cleaner air action across communities.
As part of the team, the IVY volunteer will support activities such as:
Promoting project events, workshops and public engagement activities
Preparing communication materials, including articles, newsletters, social media content, photos and videos
Supporting stakeholder engagement with public authorities, schools, community organisations and environmental groups
Assisting with citizen science and school engagement activities on air quality
Helping to collect success stories, good practices and project results
Supporting the visibility of EU and PEACEPLUS support through outreach and communication activities
📍 Location: Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, Ireland
📅 Start: September
⏳ Duration: 6 months
💶 Financial support: €58.84 per day, including weekends and holidays
🗣️ Language requirement: English C1
⏰ Application deadline: 12 July
This is an opportunity to gain practical experience in European cooperation, environmental communication and cross-border engagement while contributing to cleaner air across the island of Ireland.
