11 April 2018 - ARCTIC CLUSTER project

SECURE, or Smarter Energy Communities in Northern & Arctic Regions project, started in May 2016 thanks to the funding programme Northern Periphery and Artic Programme 2014-2020. During almost two years, project partners have exchanged their successful experiences and they have created a directory with good energy efficiency practices from Canada, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Sweden, Finland and Faroe Islands.

These all regions share the same features; such as, low population density, abundant natural resources, and low accessibility.

This directory helps to overcome some of the challenges that northern regions face today by sharing the knowledge and innovation these regions have generated. Find out more about good energy practices from SECURE partner regions.
