ISO 50001 Energy Management System Implementation
ISO 50001 is a certification that provides a framework for establishing energy management best practice to help organisations to improve their energy efficiency. It is an energy management strategy whose purpose is to demonstrate a clear understanding of where energy is used in an organisation, what drives its consumption and what can be done in order to improve its performance. It is innovative because it increases awareness and the better management of energy consumption in the facilities. It was produced by Donegal County Council in Donegal (IE).
