Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program

This good practice is directed at citizens. It is a programme to enable property owners to invest into energy efficient upgrades or renewable energy for their property. It is an intelligent Energy Planning Initiative and it is innovative because a Property Assessed Clean Energy Improvement Tax will be added to the property owner’s Property Tax Bill. It was produced by the Region of Nova Scotia (CA).
