Energy efficiency program for hospitals
This good practice is directed at buildings. It is a programme to develop bio-climatic architecture through a proper use of energy. It aims to reduce energy consumption in public buildings or in buildings for public use (residential and non-residential). It helps to save resources by allocating them in the improvement of health services instead. It is innovative because it must be accompanied by an energy audit, which will identify actions that will reduce and optimize energy-consumption. It was produced by Naples Agency for Energy and Environment and Campania Region (through the General Directorate for health protection and the coordination of the regional health system) in Naples (IT).
