The aim of the project is to:

Explore innovative and collaborative ways for public administrations to engage with their citizens in the provision of future-proof, sustainable and responsive public services

Specific objectives are to:
  • Establish a transnational ecosystem capable to co-create and co-deliver public services resulting from the engagement with the citizens
  • Develop awareness and preparedness of public authorities to adopt new technologies and methods in the provision of quality and sustainable public services

The Public Link is a preparation action project proposal aiming at citizen empowerment and radical improvement of citizens’ access to public services through people centric digital transformation for fair and competitive economy and sustainable society.

In particular the project will focus on engagement and coordination of efforts between local governments, NGOs, research labs and companies to explore the application of disruptive technologies in public services provision. This includes the use of Virtual / Augmented Reality (VR/AR), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning-based approaches that, twin with co-creation methodologies, will be run by public service providers from 6 different EU regions and tested with their citizens in online, virtual living labs on a transnational basis in fields like public transport, smart planning, health and informative services to visitors/users/costumers.
