The INCLUDE project officially launched with its kick-off meeting held on 10–11 March in South Savo, Finland, bringing partners together for two days of discussion, exchange and planning.
Hosted by the University of Helsinki Ruralia Institute, the meeting combined partner sessions in Mikkeli and Puumala with opportunities to explore the local context and strengthen cooperation across the partnership.
This Interreg Arctic clustering project brings together the MINDSET, InnoGS and Innovation in Urban Planning project partners to unlock communities’ potential to shape prosperous, sustainable and resilient territories.
Over the next 12 months, through addressing shared challenges such as skills gaps, the participation of young people and minority groups in decision-making, climate change adaptation, and support for place-based economies, INCLUDE will strengthen the capacity of public authorities and communities to work together to shape and develop their territories.
