Partners meet in Aachen, Germany
E6 partners gathered at digitalHUB Aachen, Germany, from 15–17 September for the project’s sixth live partnership meeting, under the theme: ‘EEEASY from Waste to Worth’.
The productive three-day programme focused on turning E6 research and pilot experience into practical, scalable solutions. Partners explored circularity policy, behaviour-change campaigns, digital decision-support tools, social innovation and opportunities to strengthen and expand regional repair, reuse and recycling ecosystems.
They also tested the E6 Service Hub and spare-parts catalogue.
The programme included practical workshops and visits focused on decentralised collection, the Wertstoffmobil mobile collection centre, customer wayfinding at recycling centres and the potential use of AI to engage young people in repair, reuse and recycling activities.
On the final day, partners reviewed the impact of E6 tools, methods and interventions, organisational capacity, ecosystem business needs and pilot development. Discussions also looked beyond the project, considering how E6 results and resources can remain accessible and continue supporting regional ecosystems after the project ends.
The meeting marked an important step as the partnership moves towards the final phase of E6, with a clear focus on long-term impact, replication and continued cooperation.
